Darklord

A spin on the narrative roles of Zelda. In this game, you play as a reincarnating evil lord who has been sealed away. The game has you exploring the space and defeating the seal guardians as you attempt to break yourself out of the seal and wreak havoc on the world once again!

This was created for the GMTK 2023 Gamejam, for which the theme was "Role Reversal". This is the second game I have ever submitted to a gamejam, hoping that it is fun to play!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to implement sounds before having to package! I also wanted to add an interactive minigame at the start of each game, if I come back to this game later on for updates perhaps that is what I will focus on.
